Proform 505 CST Treadmill Review Pros

The Proform 505 CST Treadmill appears to be a fairly well-built and solid machine. Users report it is very stable when running on jogging on it. People who bought the ProForm 505 CST Treadmill seemed pleased with the quality they received for the money and gave it a positive rating of 4.2 stars.

The treadmill has a roomy 20 x 55 inch tread belt which makes suitable for running unlike many other lower priced treadmills.

The ProForm 505 CST Treadmill comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame, 25 years on the motor and 1 year on parts and labor.

Proform 505 CST Treadmill Review Cons

Our main concern is the 2.25 CHP motor. We think it is undersized. We really think 2.5 CHP should be the minimum motor size and ideally 3 would be better. Although the frame appears solid, the motor may not stand up to continuous use. As you exercise and your fitness level increases so will the demands you place on the machine.

Users also commented on the fact that the console and controls were laid out rather poorly to suit them although this seems rather subjective.

There seems to be no way to customize the 15 workouts included and this treadmill doesn’t come with installed iFit Live Technology either. If this flexibility is important to you probably don’t want to buy this treadmill. By the time you are done paying to update it you will have spent enough to get a better treadmill that already includes it.

Proform 505 CST Treadmill Review Conclusion

The ProForm 505 CST Treadmill will be suitable for light to moderate workouts and beginners. If you are already a runner or athlete and serious about training you will want to look elsewhere. You will probably want more speed, more incline and certainly a more powerful motor.

We think the ProForm 505 CST Treadmill is a reasonably good value for its price. If you are just starting out or want a back up unit for days when the weather outside is bad we would recommend it for light to moderate use.

We hope our Proform 505 CST Treadmill Review has helped make it easier for you to make an informed buying decision.
